Experience
I attended Smith College School for Social work, graduating in 2009 with a Masters in Social Work, and have been in clinical practice since then. I have worked in a range of settings, serving veterans, elders, and college students. I have experience working with depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, PTSD, and complex trauma.
I have been a student of mindfulness meditation since 2003. My mindfulness training has included extensive time in meditation retreats as well as experience teaching mindfulness to others.

Prior to getting my masters degree, I studied fine arts, receiving a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design. Through my education in art, I learned to commit to an unfolding creative process, and to value non-linear approaches to problems. My background in both art-making and mindfulness helps me practice therapy in a creative, playful, and intuitive way.
